DNR Searching South Bend River for Missing Woman

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WOWO): Conservation officers continue to search a South Bend river for a missing woman.

Early Wednesday morning, 25-year-old Yolanda Anderson of South Bend was walking along the Saint Joseph River with family and friends when she entered the water.

Today they are scanning the river bottom with sonar. They'll continue the search with dive teams and rescue workers until dusk.

Officials say they'll continue looking Thursday.It's not clear why the woman went into the water.
