Fifth Person Dies from Car-Semi Crash

TIPTON, Ind. (AP): Police say a girl who survived Friday's collision between a car and a semitrailer on U.S. 31 has died from her injuries at an Indianapolis hospital.

State Police say a female adolescent who was sitting in the car's rear passenger side was airlifted with life-threatening injuries to Eskenazi Health in Indianapolis, where she later died.
Two adults and two children were pronounced dead at the scene of Friday's crash along U.S. 31 near Tipton, about 35 miles north of Indianapolis.
Police have released the names of two adults killed in the crash. They are 43-year-old Dennis Nguyen, who was driving the car, and his 44-year-old wife, Thu-Ha Thi Cao.
State Police say the couple was from Arkansas, but have not determined their place of residence.
