Mad Ants, Pacers Distribute Thousands of Toys to the Community

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Santa's getting a little more help this year thanks to the Indiana Pacers and Fort Wayne Mad Ants.

The basketball teams are in the process of distributing more than 15,000 toys to 30 community organizations.  

Heidi Kessens with the Mad Ants says that translates to 75 pallets. Doll, fairies, tiaras, Spiderman, video games, baby toys, power wheels, we've got it all.” 

Kessens says they've got so many toys they've had to store some of the pallets at Memorial Coliseum. 

They have donations earmarked for SCAN, The Burn Council, Fort Wayne Police Department Shop with a Cop program, Erin's House, Lutheran Children's Hospital and Turnstone.
