WATERLOO, Ind. (WOWO): A two-car crash that police say was caused by one driver not using his headlights sent three people to the hospital Wednesday night.

According to a press release from the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office, a car driven by 21-year-old Alexander Shoemaker of Waterloo was turning into a driveway on U.S. 6 near the Waterloo Airport when it collided head-on with a car driven by 46-year-old Donald Brown of Butler just before 8pm.

The report says Brown was driving without his headlights on, and that coupled with the rainy conditions led to the crash.

Shoemaker, a passenger in his car, and Brown were all hospitalized in critical condition.
