Police investigate armed robbery in Angola

ANGOLA, Ind. (WOWO): Police in Angola are investigating an armed robbery at the town’s Family Dollar store.

The Angola Police Department says a man in his late thirties to early forties, standing 5’6″ and weighing about 150 pounds with acne scars on his face, walked into the store on North Wayne Street at a few minutes after 3:30pm Wednesday and demanded cash from the clerks.

He ordered them at gunpoint to then get on the ground. Customers in the store called 911 but he got away, running north. K-9 units weren’t able to find him.
