FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): If the early voting turnout is any indication, today should be a busy Election Day in Indiana.

In Allen County alone, 15,000 people had voted as of Saturday night, according to what election officials told our partners in news at 21Alive. Election Board Director Beth Dlug reports that there were more people voting early in Allen County than anywhere else in the state.

The Indiana Secretary of State’s office says more than 157,000 Hoosiers had voted as of last Wednesday. That’s nearly 30,000 more than the 2008 Primary, which was the last one without a Presidential incumbent.

A couple of tipsters told WOWO news there were wait times of up to 25 minutes at some polling places early this morning.

We’ll have full coverage live on-air after the polls close.
