FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Drivers are seeing a great start to the summer driving season with the lowest gasoline prices in 11 years greeting them at the pump. Experts with GasBuddy say every state in the nation is seeing lower gasoline and diesel prices than where we started summer last year. Going forward, much of the country will spend the summer in the two dollar range for both gasoline and diesel.

In Fort Wayne, average retail gasoline prices have jumped 11 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $2.46 per gallon Sunday; 28.8 cents per gallon lower than the same day one year ago. This compares with the national average that has increased 3 cents per gallon in the last week.
