FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A place Fort Wayne pet owners have gone for three decades to get their pets spayed or neutered is closing its doors forever.

The Spay and Neuter Clinic on Broadway will be closing on June 30th, according to the Journal-Gazette. The was open from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays and weekends and offered pet owners low-cost spay and neuter services for their dogs or cats.

However, it’s closing its doors next week because a doctor is retiring.

It had been open since 1983 at its Broadway location, which was also the home of the Emergency Animal Clinic at the time.
