LIGONIER, Ind. (WOWO): A deputy officer from Noble County was hurt after getting into a rollover crash.

26-year-old Kyle Hartman of Albion received a call Tuesday morning about two unconscious men northwest of Ligonier, according to Noble County Sheriff’s Department.

He was following another Noble County Sheriff’s deputy on SR9 near CR 600 N when the deputy ahead of him slowed down to avoid a deer crossing the road. Hartman had to swerve his vehicle to avoid a crash and ended up rolling his own vehicle over twice after hitting a concrete culvert.

Hartman was taken to the hospital with minor bleeding and cuts.
