FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A unique fundraiser for a local animal shelter brought in hundreds of dollars over the weekend.

Our partners in news at 21Alive report the third annual “Paint Your Pet” event brought in more than 60 would-be artists and more than $750 for the Allen County SPCA.

Artists helped donors learn how to immortalize their pets on canvas through a variety of techniques, with a helping of wine available as well. That’s because the fundraiser was held at the Bottle and Bottega Studio on Dupont Road.
