Mark Becker named new Deputy Director of Fort Wayne Parks and Rec

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Fort Wayne Parks and Recreations Department has named a new deputy director.

Mark Becker will begin his new duties on September 1st, according to a city press release, and his main focus will be to lead riverfront development efforts. He has previously served as the city’s director of community development, director of economic development, and deputy mayor.

Parks and Recreation Director Al Moll says Becker brings “unique talents and experiences” that will help continue Fort Wayne’s “positive momentum.”
