FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Data from the US Bureau of Economic Analysis shows the northeast corner of Indiana, which includes Fort Wayne, is seeing per capita personal income growth that’s faster than the rest of the country.

It’s the sixth consecutive year that’s happened, according to Inside Indiana Business. Northeast Indiana saw a 4.3% income growth for 2015, while the national rate was 3.7%.

The average per capital personal income for a person living in northeast Indiana is just shy of $40,000, according to the study. Experts say the report indicates a “healthy” labor market.
