Delphos man arrested in connection to toddler’s death

DELPHOS, Ohio (WOWO): A Delphos, Ohio man was arrested after police say he’s connected to a toddler’s death.

Christopher M. Peters, 26, was arrested and preliminary charged with child endangerment, a level 3 felony, and felonious assault, a level 2 felony, on Friday, Nov. 18, according to The Lima News. If he is convicted of both charges, he could spend up to 46 years in prison.

At 11:57 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, police received a call about an unresponsive child in the 24000 block of Lincoln Highway in Delphos.  The boy’s mother told police when she checked on her son, he wasn’t breathing.

Police have not released the name of the 15-month-old boy who was killed.
