FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department are currently investigating a suspicious death.

On Thursday, Nov. 24 just before 1:30 p.m., officers were called to a home in the 3900 block of Lillie Street to recover a possible stolen vehicle. Once on the scene they spoke with the owner of the vehicle who said she found her car unoccupied at the residence.

The woman went into the home and found an unconscious man inside. Once medics arrived he was pronounced dead on the scene.

UPDATE: The Allen County Coroner’s Office said the victim was a 26-year-old man. He died from a gunshot wound to the head. The manner of death was ruled a suicide.
