ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): A replacement has been named for the late Roy Buskirk

Justin Busch will replace Buskirk on the Allen County Council for the rest of the year, according to our news partners at ABC 21. 

Busch received the most amount of votes during the Allen County Republican Party’s caucus on Wednesday night.

Republican Chairman Steve Shine said they got a great winner with Busch and he is looking forward to the next caucus on Dec. 8. That caucus will decide who will replace Buskirk for his new term, which begins in January 2017.

Buskirk died four days before Election Day.
