WABASH COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Wabash County’s two economic development drivers are merging into one entity.

The Wabash County Chamber of Commerce and the Economic Development Group of Wabash County have approved a proposal to merge into the Wabash County Business Alliance, which becomes official on June 30th.

Inside Indiana Business reports that the EDG’s current president and CEO, Keith Gillenwater, will lead the new organization, which will have a board of directors made up of members from both groups.

The board and various committees will be meeting over the next few weeks as they form a strategy for the County Business Alliance.
