Ravenscroft Beauty College closed amid shooting investigation: two hurt, shooter dead

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A man is dead and two women are in the hospital after a shooting that happened at a Fort Wayne beauty college Monday evening.

The Fort Wayne Police Department says officers were called to the Ravenscroft Beauty College on Lahmeyer Road at about 6:45pm, alongside police from Allen County and the Indiana State Police, on reports of shots being fired at the school.

Two women were found with gunshot wounds: one of them, 20-year-old Alyssa Spade of Fort Wayne, arrived in good condition at an area hospital and has since been released. The other, 29-year-old Patricia Ann Hahn, arrived in serious condition but was downgraded to critical condition. She’s now in stable condition.

Police entered the building and found 24-year-old Davion Brown of Fort Wayne dead inside. He’s believed to have been the shooter.

This incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department, Allen County Coroners Office, and the Allen County Prosecutors Office. 

Meanwhile, the college is CLOSED as the investigation is ongoing.
