Fort Wayne homicide suspect arrested in Mississippi

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – A fugitive wanted for the fatal shooting of a Fort Wayne football coach that happened in Fort Wayne last May has been arrested in Mississippi.

Jaevin Eugene Bowie, 21, was arrested in Biloxi, Mississippi Thursday.

Bowie was wanted for the murder of Terrance L. Miles on May 19, 2017.

Miles was an assistant football coach at North Side High School. Miles’ body was found near the parking lot entrance at East Central Towers apartments… he had been shot while taking out the trash.
