FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): We now have a better idea of what the plans are for the Electric Works development on Fort Wayne’s former General Electric campus.
Plans filed yesterday with the city’s Planning Services department show that the developers don’t plan on tearing down any of the ex-GE plant’s main buildings, with plans to also build several more buildings and a pair of parking garages.
The Journal Gazette reports RTM Ventures wants to add a water feature on the west side of the campus, plus an arts lawn and green space on its east side.

Construction on the project, which still needs to secure $65-million in local funding, is set to start in July. A public hearing on the project is set for May 14th in Room 35 of Citizens Square at 6pm.
