FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A man and woman are in the hospital after a motorcycle crash early Sunday morning.

Police responded to a motorcycle crash just after 4 a.m. Sunday morning on I-69 near the 315 mile marker, south of the I-469 ramp.

Officers found the rider, a man, and a passenger, a woman, on the ground near the right lane shoulder. The man was taken to the hospital in critical condition, while the woman was transported in serious condition.

Police say no other vehicles were involved, and that there were no witnesses to the crash. The relationship between the two riders is unknown at this time. It’s also unclear if speed or alcohol were factors.
