DeKALB COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): An 18-month-old was killed Thursday in Corunna after he was struck by a tractor.

DeKalb County Police responded to the 1900 block of CR 13. Police say the tractor, which wasn’t running, rolled backwards over the top of Oliver Stackhouse. His mother tried to stop the tractor from rolling, but her leg was pinned underneath. The tractor rolled about ten feet before stopping.

Stackhouse was pronounced dead at the scene. His mother’s injuries are unknown.

The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department and the DeKalb County Coroner’s Office are still investigating.
