FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Police are investigating after a woman’s body was found inside a Fort Wayne home Monday evening.

Officers were called to a home in the 2400 block of Cass Street at 5:33pm and found the woman’s body inside the home.

Investigators canvassed the neighborhood, attempting to find anyone who might be able to tell them what happened. Crime Scene Technicians also processed the scene.

The woman was later identified as Laura Elizabeth Larkin, 33 of Fort Wayne. Her cause and manner of death will be released by the Allen County Coroner’s Office at a later time.

The Allen County Prosecutor’s Office is also assisting with the case.
