FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The same company behind the Cityscape Flats apartments near Parkview Field wants to build another complex on the site of a condemned Fort Wayne movie theater.

Domo Development is looking to build a 10-building apartment complex on the site of the Apollo Coventry Cinemas, which closed in 2018 over numerous violations of health and building codes, according to the Journal Gazette.

The Fort Wayne Plan Commission will consider the proposal next month for Ventry Apartments, which will feature 180 apartments with one-and-two-bedroom floor plans. The site of the property was bought by the Carmel-based developers last November for almost $1.9-million.

A public hearing on the development will be held on March 11th at Citizens Square.
