UPDATE: Man in critical condition after shooting at Weisser Park

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – The Fort Wayne Police Department confirm that a man is in critical condition after being shot around 8:00 p.m. Monday night at Weisser Park.  The man was taken to an area hospital by a friend or relative who had called police to report the incident according to Fort Wayne’s NBC.

Fort Wayne dispatch received a call reporting gunshots in the same area around the same time.

Police canvased the area of the 3000 block of Hanna Street including Weisser Park.   The scene was processed by homicide detectives and crime scene technicians.

Officers arrested 19-year-old Keshon L. Rogan on Tuesday.  Rogan is preliminarily charged with attempted murder, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and criminal recklessness.
