ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO) — A poll released this week shows 43% of Allen County voters support bringing a casino to New Haven, while 41% oppose it, and 17% are unsure.
Opponents quickly dismissed the poll as misleading.
Among those who said they were more informed, support for the $500 million proposal rose to 54%, with 36% against, though the poll has a 6% margin of error.
Support was even higher among New Haven residents, but the margin of error was also larger.

” A POLL WAS RELEASED”……Who cares……Are we all suppose to believe this just because its a news release?
Release the Data on the Poll, Who conducted the Poll and who Paid for the Poll…..otherwise, THIS IS A NON-STORY!!!!
I did my own Poll…..I found that the only people who support this casino seem to be leadership at the City and County level….meaning 20 people out of 15,974 conducted (New haven) in my poll.
Therefore, there is overwhelming opposition for this Casino…..Go build another failed Casino somewhere else.
Whats wrong WOWO, don’t allow comments anymore?
