Accused of Murder, Kast Faces Allen County Jury

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): An Allen County jury has begun hearing testimony in the murder trial of Joseph Kast.  Trial began Monday for Kast, who is accused of killing Claude Berkshire, who was found dead in a garage behind his home on Juliette Avenue back in 2002.  Kast was already serving 55-years in prison for stabbing Earl Bowman at a construction site in Huntington earlier in 2002 when he allegedly admitted to the murder.  The trial is expected to wrap-up by the end of this week.
