Afternoon Raid Nets Numerous Drugs and Firearms

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Acting on a tip, the Fort Wayne Police Department’s Vice and Narcotics Division, along with other emergency service teams, served a search warrant this afternoon at a home on Barr Street. 

During the search, detectives find four adults and two kids inside the home. 

32-year-old Sherman Baylock, was arrested on numerous charges, including Possession of Controlled Substances, Possession of Stolen Property (2 counts), and Maintaining a Common Nuisance, along with three Misdemeanor charges.

Also during the search, police recovered and seized four firearms, two of which had been reported stolen.  Also, Marijuana, “Spice”, drug paraphernalia, and numerous controlled substances were located and seized.

A $12,000 bond has been set for Baylock.
