Airport Budget Heads to County Council

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The airport authority has approved a $26 million dollar budget for Fort Wayne International Airport and Smith Field.

According to the Journal-Gazette, $5 million dollars will go for a fuel facility and another $2.6 million will fund a project to rebuild the rental car area.

Another 475 thousand dollars will go for a new taxiway at Smith Field.

And because it's Indiana, they'll be getting snow removal equipment as well.  The budget still needs the okay from County Council.
