Anderson Man Arrested in Fatal Shooting

ANDERSON, Ind. (AP): Police in Anderson have arrested a man in the fatal shooting of one man and the beating of another during an early morning attack inside a barbershop last November.

Police say 26-year-old Raymond Johnson of Anderson was arrested Sunday on murder, armed robbery and other charges for the attack at the Divine Stylez-n-Cutz Barbershop about 2 a.m. Thanksgiving Day.

Police say 24-year-old Brandon Boone was visiting the shop when he was killed by a masked man who was among two who robbed the shop of several hundred dollars. Another man who was getting a haircut was beaten with the baseball bat.

Sgt. Chad Boynton says tests found Johnson's DNA on sweatpants the beaten man was wearing.

Court records didn't list a defense attorney for Johnson on Monday.
