STEUBEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): An Angola woman is dead after a house fire yesterday afternoon. Fire crews were called to the scene of a fire on North CR 550 West in rural Milgrove Township in Steuben County just before 2:30 P.M. Crews found the home engulfed in flames. Once the fire was extinguished, it was discovered that 73-year-old Sandra Campbell of Angola had been unable to escape the fire and was found dead inside the home. Campbell lived there with other family members, but she was the only person home at the time of the fire. The Steuben County Coroner has ruled Campbell’s death as accidental, caused by smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
