Aqua Indiana Provides Water Treatment for Nearly 13,000 Homes and Businesses

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A local wastewater service has finished improvements to Aboite Township waterways, providing treatment for nearly 13,000 homes and businesses.

Aqua Indiana invested $4.3 million to install several miles of piping to relieve congestion during heavy rainstorms. The new pipes will service Allen and Whitley counties and attract new housing.

According to a press release, the expansion diverts a portion of wastewater from the Sycamore Hills area to Aqua's Midwest treatment plant, located on Engle Road.
