FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): An arrest has been made in the Terrance Miles homicide case.
Henry Underwood, 23, was arrested Thursday in a traffic stop and he is now being charged with murder and attempted robbery.
Miles’ body was discovered in the 900 block of Francis Street in the early morning hours of May 19, 2017. Underwood was one of two men seen in video footage from Miles’ death. With the public’s help, detectives were able to identify him and eventually name him as the suspect wanted in connection to the investigation.

The other man in the surveillance footage was identified as Jaevin Bowie. He was initially charged with murder and a gun charge in the case, but earlier this week he pleaded guilty to lesser charges.

Police say Underwood and Bowie were stealing from a car near the East Central Towers apartments when they were confronted by 36-year-old Terrance Miles. He was then shot to death.
Miles, 36, was an assistant football coach at North Side High School and an administrative assistant at Forest Park Elementary School. He graduated from North Side, played football at Indiana State University and for the Fort Wayne Freedom indoor football team.
