Babies from West Africa to receive medical treatment in Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO):  A local organization will be treating five West African infants with a cleft lip and palette.

21 Alive reports the children arrived this past week, and the charity Ray of Hope will provide the corrective care for these children.

 

Volunteers will host the children for a year as part of a medical visa.  The organization then secures their medical care is taken care of for the entire visit.

From there, 21 Alive reports they are returned homed after a full recovery.
