Bass Road business destroyed after another fire breaks out

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A well drilling business on Bass Road near Hadley and Yellow River Roads was destroyed when a second fire broke out in as many days.

Aboite firefighters were able to save the A-1 Well Drilling business Wednesday afternoon. A fire broke out in the back of the business, according to the Journal-Gazette, and firefighters were able to save the company’s equipment.

But early Thursday morning, a fire broke out again at a different part of the business. Damage was extensive, with the entire business being destroyed outside of a couple of trucks.

An Aboite Fire Department spokesman says the fire isn’t suspicious, but it’s being investigated as a possible electrical fire.
