Boy’s Race Car Stolen from Indianapolis

BROWNSTOWN, Ind. (AP) _ A 9-year-old southern Indiana boy is looking for help finding his race car that was stolen from the Indiana State Fairgrounds.

Bryan Brewer of Brownstown says he's angry and sad that the car was stolen at the Mini Indy Speedway at the fairgrounds in Indianapolis.

<span style=”font-size: 18px;”>The car was a 2004 Stanley Quarter Midget. The fourth-grader's father, J.L. Brewer, tells WISH-TV it was taken from a locked trailer along with the boy's helmet and other gear on July 1.

Indiana State Police are investigating the theft, and the Central Indiana Quarter Midget Association is helping the Brewers search for the car and those who stole it.

J.L. Brewer is also involved in racing and believes the thieves knew what they were after.
