Butler under boil advisory

BUTLER, Ind. (WOWO): A weekend water main break has led to a boil advisory for Butler residents.

Officials in the DeKalb County town tell our Partners in News at ABC 21 that break led to a loss of water pressure and thus could’ve contaminated the water supply.

All drinking and cooking water should be boiled for at least five minutes until further notice. The CDC is also asking people to conserve water and only use what they need. Dishwashers can still be used as normal, as long as they have a sanitizing cycle.
