MUNCIE, Ind. (AP): A central Indiana camp that's provided summer activities for disabled children and adults for 60 years is being shut down.
 
       Leaders of the organization that oversees Camp Isanogel near Muncie are blaming the decision on the cost of running it at a time when the group has had funding reductions.
 
       Hillcroft Services CEO Debbie Bennett tells The Star Press that the camp is expensive to run and that most of those attending are unable to pay much. She says the camp has been losing money for years with growing maintenance costs.
 
       About 170 people attended the camp last summer. It dates back to 1953 after teacher Ellen Isanogel donated 150 acres of farmland. It offered day camps until residential camp programs started in the 1960s.
