FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Residents of a home south of downtown Fort Wayne got quite the wakeup call Sunday morning.

An Allen County Sheriff’s deputy saw a car flying down Clinton Street at about 100 mph at a little after 3:30 a.m., according to the Journal-Gazette. When it crossed Pontiac street, it went off the right side of the road, hit an unattached garage, continued through a fence, and then hit the back of a house.

The residents were awoken to the sound of the crash, but were not hurt. No word on who was driving, except that he or she is in the hospital in serious condition.

Clinton Street was closed until almost 6 a.m. Sunday morning because of debris on the road. The incident is still under investigation.
