INDIANAPOLIS (WOWO): A Fort Wayne man who has made a career out of robbing banks is headed to federal prison.

Federal prosecutors announced Monday that 39 year old Deandre Armour has been sentenced to 27 years in federal prison in Indianapolis federal court.

The FBI says Armour and several others were planing on robbing Indianapolis area banks. In June 2013, Armour and 28 year old Duryea Rogers and 27 year old Xavier Hardy, both of Fort Wayne, went into a Fishers bank with loaded firearms.

Rogers and Hardy received 12 and 11 year sentences respectively while an accomplice, 42 year old Tahitia Burnett of Fort Wayne, earned a 7 year sentence.
