CASA Volunteers to Gather at Statehouse March 3rd

INDIANAPOLIS (WOWO): Volunteers from Court Appointed Special Advocates, or CASA for short, will gather at the Indiana State House to show support for the program and to talk with legislators about important issues facing children. CASA volunteers advocate on behalf of abused and neglected children whose families are involved with the child welfare system. There are almost 3,500 CASA volunteers in Indiana advocating on behalf of 17,000 abused and neglected children. Volunteers will gather at noon next Monday, March 3rd.
