CINCINNATI (AP) _ Two amusement parks in Ohio are offering free admission for U.S. military personnel over the Fourth of July holiday period.
 
Kings Island in southwest Ohio and Cedar Point in northwest Ohio say active, retired and honorably discharged members of the U.S. military with government-issued identification will be eligible for free admission at those parks. The offer is good Friday through Sunday.
 
The free admission also is available for Cedar Point's Soak City water park.
 
The parks say qualified military personnel also can buy tickets for immediate family members at special prices.
 
Members of the National Guard and the Reserve Officers' Training Corps also are eligible.
 
 Both parks are owned and operated by Cedar Fair Entertainment Company, based in Sandusky.
