FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Perdue Farms says they're recalling 15,306 pounds of their fully cooked, frozen chicken nuggets sold under the Applegate Naturals brand distributed to retail outlets nationwide, because some of the product may contain pieces of plastic. The recall is for the 8 oz. box of nuggets with a “best before” date of February 5, 2015. The company says they have not received any reports of injury or illness from consumption of the product.
