FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A car hits a child and leaves her injured. The incident happened yesterday around 5:30 P.M. According to our partners in news at 21 Alive, Cornerstone Harvest Church was having an event at Brewer Park, when a little girl ran across the street on Weisser Park Ave. near E. Pettit Ave and was hit. She was able to stand up, according to witnesses, but her injuries are not known. Police say they will not file charges against the driver because it was an accident.
