INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (AP): Two Indiana Department of Child Services investigators say in a lawsuit that they've had to work extensive overtime without receiving required overtime pay.
 
The lawsuit filed by Arlene Nunez and Veronica Martinez says they often worked outside of regular office hours responding to emergencies and were forced to work through their lunch hours.
 
The Indianapolis Star reports the women are family case managers at the agency's Lake County office and filed their lawsuit in federal court in Hammond.
 
DCS spokesman James Wide says he can't comment on pending litigation.
 
Attorney Adam Sedia represents the women and says the child protection agency should be held to the same standards as other employers.
