Coats Statement on September 11 Anniversary

WASHINGTON, DC. (WOWO): Thursday afternoon, Indiana Senator Dan Coats issued the following statement on the anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks:

Today we remember the thousands of lives lost in the tragic terrorist attacks on our nation thirteen years ago. We lift up in prayer the families of our fallen brothers and sisters, and we say thank you to our first responders and men and women in uniform.

“May our memories and actions honor the fallen. May the world know that the United States remains strong in our resolve to stand united against the forces of evil who plot against our country. May we never forget and may God bless the land of the free and home of the brave.”
