WASHINGTON, (WOWO): The votes are in and Third-District Representative Marlin Stutzman will not become the House majority whip. Hosue republicans have picked Louisiana Representative Steve Scalise to be their new number three leader. Scalise was elected majority whip Thursday afternoon.

House republicans also elected California Representative Kevin McCarthy as the majority leader.
