Corona seeks city council at-large seat

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Steve Corona, vice president of the Fort Wayne Community Schools Board of Trustees, filed today to enter into the city council at-large race.

Corona will run as a Democrat. He was appointed to the school board in 1981. He also serves on the Fort Wayne Redevelopment Commission, the University of St. Francis Board of Trustees and the city of Fort Wayne Legacy Committee.

“Economic growth increases the value of our city and that in turn benefits all citizens,” Corona said. “I want to support the amazing progress our city has made.”

Corona is a Gary native who has lived in Fort Wayne since 1972.

The deadline to file for the May 7th primary election is at noon today.
