Coroner: man found dead on tennis court was murdered

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A man whose body was found lying on a Fort Wayne tennis court in June was beaten to death.

That’s according to the Allen County Coroner’s Office, who ruled 52-year-old Randy Singleton’s death a homicide in a press release issued today. Singleton’s body was found lying on a tennis court at Weisser Park on June 28th.

The coroner’s office says his official cause of death was blunt force trauma to the head.

Singleton’s death is the 32nd homicide in Fort Wayne and Allen County this year. As of this report, no arrests have been made in his killing.
