Ex-Huntington University Administrator charged with battery

A former Huntington University administrator who stepped down amid sexual assault allegations has been charged with battery.

50-year-old Vincent Haupert stepped down on August 9th after our Partners in News at ABC 21 reported on allegations that he assaulted a man in his early 20s at Haupert’s home on July 31st.

Today, a single misdemeanor battery charge was filed in Huntington County Court after an Indiana State Police investigation.

Haupert reportedly is out of the area and will turn himself in next week.
