Couple Pleads Guilty to Starving their Puppy

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Two people are facing charges after letting their puppy stare to death.


According to our partners in news at 21 Alive, 26-year-old Cameron Marcum and 26-year-old Chelsey Ormsby both of Fort Wayne, each pleaded guilty to a felony charge of torturing an animal, Wednesday afternoon.


The body of the puppy was found in their home back in March. According to police, the dog died of starvation.


During their August sentencing, the couple is expected to be sentenced to two years in prison or as an alternative community service.
